Create a movie clip and place an instance of it on the stage.
In the Instance panel, name the movie clip.
In this
example, the top of the umbrella is the separate movie clip since
that's the object we'll change the color of
The
umbrella is clip art off the Freehand 9 CD. Break
the graphic apart in Flash (Command-B)
so that the top of the umbrella and the handle are separate.
Select
the top part of the umbrella and convert
it to a movie clip (F8)
Step 2: Create a button
Create
a new button or buttons on the stage
In this
example, we created 3 buttons with each button representing a
specific color
